Began cultivating medical marijuana in 1974 for
use in controlling epileptic seizures in Valerie Corral.

Began experimenting with different genomes and
cultivation techniques in 1975 utilizing all sources available at
that time including information from U.S. government cultivation
programs that began during WWII.

Spent the next 20 years refining cultivation
techniques and developing strain base still used today in the WAMM
collective garden.

Co-founded WAMM The Wo/Mens Alliance for
Medical Marijuana in 1993 and have been it’s Agricultural director
ever since.

Developed and maintains a working relationship
with local law enforcement agencies since 1994. This relationship
seeks to define and safeguard the rights of patients, care-givers
and physicians as well as advise law enforcement on various
cultivation techniques and possible outcomes.

Participant in the drafting of
Prop. 215 in 1995.

Assisted in the design and execution of a peer
reviewed study 1997-2000 “Differential Effects of Medical Marijuana
based on Strain and Route of Administration: A 3 year study.”

Video for medical marijuana users.

Advised the Medical Marijuana Taskforce
convened by A.G. Bill Lockyer with respect to cultivation guidelines
for S.B. 420.

Qualified as an expert witness in all phases of
cannabis cultivation in The Superior Court of Santa Cruz County in
2002.

Participant in drafting Santa Cruz City
Ordinance and guidelines to regulate medical marijuana organizations
in 2000.

Acted as a consultant to various medical
marijuana groups in California since 1997.

Amsterdam, New Zealand and in the U.S. cities of Seattle, San
Francisco, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C.

Francisco County on implementation of Prop. S and cultivation
guidelines for that county.
